Welcome to the Site!
There isn't much to see yet, but over time I will be adding more. I'm kept fairly busy between my family and full time day job, so updates are going to be a bit sporadic and infrequent at best. It's said that "starting is the hardest part," so getting this basic info up gets that out of the way.
About
Pixel Platform is owned and operated entirely by me, Tristan Coysh, out of beautiful London Ontario. I'm in the business of developing and designing things on the computer such as web sites, logos, mobile apps and games. Recently I began development on Apple's iPhone and iPad, but am only in the early learning stages. My eventual goal is to release games for these and other mobile platforms.
Experience
I have a formal education in both graphic design and multimedia design and production. From a very young age, I've been a hobbyist programmer and am always excited to learn something new. To pay the bills and put food on the table, I hold a full time position as a web developer at the local university. Working for a living leaves me with considerably less time for side projects, but thankfully I enjoy my job and the people I work with.
Freelance & Subcontracting
Occasionally I do projects for businesses and entrepreneurs, but am not currently accepting freelance work. I particularly enjoy working with other designers and developers and am accepting limited subcontracting work. I'm experienced working with Html, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Drupal and web accessibility standards.
